Mohamed Ali Al-Hamadi is the Founding Partner at MAA & PARTNERS, with an extensive legal experience spanning approximately 16 years. He is a licensed lawyer, arbitrator, and accredited mediator by the Ministry of Justice. Additionally, he served as a former elected member of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah since 2019. He also chairs the Legislative and Legal Affairs, Appeals, Suggestions and Complaints Committee, and contributes during his tenure to the drafting and amendment of several legislations and laws. By the decision of the Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, he was appointed as a board member of Sharjah Sports Club, one of the largest clubs in the United Arab Emirates, to head the legal affairs of the club. Mohamed has been accredited as an arbitrator by the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre and has presided over and adjudicated dozens of commercial and real estate cases. He was also a member of the team responsible for drafting the regulations of the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre.He is a licensed advocate before the Federal Supreme Court, as well as the Court of Cassation in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He has represented clients in various types of criminal cases, demonstrating extensive expertise in electronic and financial crimes, and has earned a reputable standing across all courts. Prior to joining the legal profession, he contributed to the legal affairs of the Sharjah International Airport Free Zone Authority for five years, expanding his knowledge in the fields of commercial law, company law, and labor law. Due to his experience in sports law, he was selected in 2018 as a member of the Appeal Committee of the United Arab Emirates Football Association, serving in this capacity for two years. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Sharjah and a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre in cooperation with the University of Sharjah.

Vivek Agrawalla is a Partner at MAA & PARTNERS – 1.618. He is a leading Indian legal advisor practicing in the UAE. He has an extensive experience of 18 years in diverse areas, out of which he has spent several years in Dubai with one of the leading law firms of the UAE. Prior to moving to the UAE, he was working with a few of the estimated organizations in Mumbai for 6 years. Vivek is qualified to practice law in the UAE and in India. Yasser El-Hawary is a Partner at MAA & PARTNERS heading the dispute resolution practice at the firm. He reads law in Arabic and English. His overall experience in the legal field is 23 years. Before moving to UAE, he was heading the claims and the legal department of a multinational logistics company in Egypt. He is also admitted before the Supreme Court of Egypt. He has been advising and acting as a Legal Counsel in UAE since late 2004, Mr. El-Hawary has practiced on both sides of the legal practices, the non-contentious and the contentious. From late 2004 to mid-2010, he has headed the Jebel Ali branch in one of the UAE known law firms where he has practiced more on the transactional side. From 2010 onwards, he has represented a number of international and local companies in different types of contentious matters before the courts and before arbitral tribunals. The key areas in the dispute resolution practice included banking, reals estate, construction, mergers and acquisition. He has a considerable experience in different types of litigation matters representing prominent UAE and international companies. He has acted as a counsel in complex number of construction arbitrations involving prominent regional and multinational construction and real estate companies under the rules of ADCCAC, DIAC and ICC. He has acted as counsel, sole arbitrator, member of tribunal and chairperson in more than 30 international arbitration disputes under the rules of ICC, DIAC and ADCCAC and DIFC/LCIA. He was awarded the second-best sole arbitrator by DIAC in 2018.

Mohammad Altamimi is a Partner at MAA & PARTNERS – 1.618. He has an extensive experience of 19 years that includes working in the legal administrative sector for 10 years in several entities. He also worked as a lawyer in two of the major law firms in the UAE for 9 years. Mohbooba Baqer is a Partner at MAA & PARTNERS – 1.618, with an extensive practical experience spanning over 25 years. Her experience includes working in the customs sector, as well as in the field of intellectual property rights protection for more than 15 years. She has also worked as a registered trademark expert at the Ministry of Justice and as a trademark registration agent at the Ministry of Economy. In addition to that, she has worked as a lawyer in several major law firms in the United Arab Emirates. She possesses a broad experience in customs, intellectual property rights protection, as well as regulations and laws and regulatory ministerial resolutions in both fields. This includes the Unified Customs Law of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, intellectual property laws, commercial agencies, and procedural and formal laws related to litigation in these areas.
